Buenos Aires s'ouvre sur le delta du Rio de la Plata traversé quotidiennement par des navettes entre la capitale et Colonia, Uruguay. C'est idéal pour faire un petit voyage sur l'eau, visiter cette petite ville historique dont il ne reste pas grand chose et rentrer à B.A. avec un passeport estampillé qui me sert de visa pour un autre trois mois et me permet de rester jusqu'à la fin mars, sans problème. De Colonia, voici quelques images.
Buenos Aires is located on the mouth of the Rio de la Plata, which ferries cross through the day to bring tourists to Colonia, in Uruguay. It is a nice day-cruise that allows for a visit of this historical site where hardly anything ancient remains. But re-entering B.A. with a stamped passport will extend my tourist visa until the end of March. That was the idea. Here are a few photos of Colonia.
Certains paysages donnent l'impression que rien n'a bougé depuis 300 ans. Les nombreuses guerres contre le Portugal ont laissé des tas de débris qui ont été rassemblés, principalement au 19e siècle. pour rebâtir un genre d'héritage des temps jadis.
Some landscapes give the impression that nothing has changed in the last 300 years. Several wars against Portugal left tons of debris that where reassembled, mainly during the 19th century, in order to rebuild some king of historical heritage.
Dans la chaleur du midi, les chiens s'écrasent sur la pierre un peu plus fraîche pour une sieste qui durera tout l'après-midi.
In the heat of midday, dogs stretch on the sidewalk stones for a snooze that will last the whole afternoon.

Et le lendemain matin, de retour à B.A., je retrouve les petites rues ombragées de mon quartier et le café Libros del pasaje où il règne une fraîcheur parfumée de l'odeur des livres et du café.
And the next morning, back in B.A., I find the little shadowy streets of my neighbourhood and the café Libros del pasaje where the cool air smells of books and coffee.
